More annotated games
The German Go Journal published an article about this site, and the writer said that he especially liked the fact that some of the games here were annotated. So I will add some more here occasionaly, may be once per week. I start with a couple of games by Ch'oe Ch'eol-han, who just won the 2nd Zhonghuan Cup (final against Yi Se-tol!). See the sidebar.

The 2005 Korean League
The 2005 Korean League has started again. Eight teams of four players play a full match each week on Baduk TV (from Thursday to Sunday). Six of the eight teams are the same as last year: Shinsung, No 1 Fire Insurance, ParkLand, HanGame, Pumyang and Bohae. Two are new: Beeman Baduk and Bultame (hard to figure out whether this nlast name is correct).
The first round was very unusual: a knock-out league of pair baduk. It is not clear to me what the purpose of this first round was, but it provided some entertaining games.
Preliminary round: pair Baduk
I have not seen these games anywhere else than on Baduk TV and on the Baduk TV site. There were definitely some mistalkes in the names on the site, so my lack of knowledge of Korean might be the cause of some errors in the names here. In any case, this was the league with the results:-

2005-04-28 Bohae |
2005-05-05 ParkLand |

The teams did not change much in between rounds, except that Chin Tong-kyu replaced An Cho-yeong on the 5th of May, and Yi Yeong-ku replaced Mok on the 7th and 8th.
