Games for 2003

Of course the Yamashita Keigo fans were eagerly awaiting the start of this year, with Yamashita as the Challenger in the 27th Kisei. It is his first "major" match and he has started it extremely well with a 2-0 lead. We all hoped he would win it and he did! And, now that the Oteai system has been abandonded, we are also very curious when he will be promoted to 9 dan.
